Physical activity doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as going outside. Walking is a free activity that you can do almost anywhere. Whether you decide to go at a slow, leisurely rate or pick up the pace with a brisk jaunt, walking a low-impact activity that benefits all fitness levels.  
Another option for an outside activity with no equipment is a movement sequence. It could be yoga or something you come up with on your own. Finding a sunny spot outside to stretch and move through a burst of activity is a great way to break up your day. 


A daily walk can help you:

  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Strengthen your bones and muscles.
  • Improve your mood.
  • Improve your balance and coordination.
